	elbetico As requested here and via email, your boat is now renamed El_Cid_Campeador. Your crew may sail around during practice, but once the race starts, their boats must remain at the start If anyone else wants to form a team boat, please just post here and follow the rules mentioned above! 	After 15 hours of exhausting sailing, despite being in the first position, ... TWA 0 in Hullberga ... see you in next races. I don't want to repeat this experience ever again ... is a delirium race for only TeamBoats. Carlo Alberto

	In my (usually humble) opinion, these kind of races are not suited for SOL, or the other way around. SOL is still a navigational simulator. Rounding sharp corners at boatspeeds over 20 kts in small waters is simply undoable in SOL. However, I always enjoy the longer races. Even more if we can sail virtually against IRL fleets. Keep up the good work, SOL is still the best sailing game in terms of strategic sailing. Cheers and GW, Arthur. (A dedicated F18-sailor ) If you're still in control, you're not going fast enough.

	The degree of difficulty for this Race was as advertised. In the parlance of Le Tour this was an Hors catégorie or quite simply Off the Scale. Particularly vexing was the server response that consistently was in a Jump Plus 1 mode which made course corrections after a miscalculation doubly frustrating. Special mention should go to Chaos who started 20 min late, finished 4th & did not record a single BBQ. Don't ask me how this was even possible but he should give a seminar after this race. None so blind

Round Greenland 2024

Just as Skip Novak was embarking for Kamchatsky, Amyr Klink also quietly slipped his Antarctica moorings and by now Paratii 2 has reached Reykjavik, where he invites you to join him on Leg 5 of our High Latitudes Series, a full 3650nm circumnavigation of Greenland. The course is clockwise round, so down the North Atlantic to Cape Farewell, then up the Davis Strait into Baffin Bay and on into the Arctic Ocean proper, where, hopefully and certainly virtually, Paratii 2’s special ice-breaker features will get us thorough the summer ice out onto the Greenland Sea and back to Reykjavik. Stay warm!

San Francisco to Ushuaia 2024

After a superlong RTW-leg3 (27 days), we have had a month to recover, and maintain our boat, in order to continue our around the world race. Leg 4, even longer than the previous, takes us from California to the world's southernmost city Ushuaia. No waypoints, even "the Ditch" is an option, but maybe a bit too much of a treat. With 6300 nm to go, the estimated duration of this race 29 days. This course is also the August edition of our ocean race championship.
