Hello,

Following my previous post, I eventually figured out how to connect qtVlm to a NMEA source. Brainaid's server definitely doesn't work.It sends a feed and qtVlm receives it, but it seems almost empty and qtVlm doesn't display any data.

I had to install CDchecker to sort out the question. Finding and installing on Linux the right version of CDchecker turned out to be another endeavor but I eventually managed it :-)

Ready now to give a try to SailOnLine :-)
Hi Kipper,

Is there a way to reduce the size of the "AutoGrib" pop-up window? The window that pops up after we double click AG14.bat.

I am on a small 11" laptop and since the AutoGrib pop up wind does not have a side scroll slider I cannot see and cannot click on "Apply". The pop up window takes over the whole monitor. Yes, I can adjust the margins with my mouse but there is no way to make the bottom buttons to show up.

I understand this may be a MS-Windows question, but I looked all over the internet and could not find the solution.

Is there any sort of flag codded in AGL that specify the size of the pop-up window that can be edited?

Thank you for any assistance.
Attached is a screenshot for reference.
Cheers,

Hi all

Been away from SoL and qtvlm for a while, and have forgotten the little that I knew before.

I am trying to figure out how to run a routing that takes the Gulfstream into account. I know it can be done, but age is beginning to tell :-)
@BER_baggus
Look for tides, currents etc and you will find something like XTide.
https://flaterco.com/xtide/

Maybe this will help you to an answer for your question.

In QTVLM look for configuration>gribs and harmonics.
I can not imagine it to be useful in SOL. SOL routing does only use weather (grib).

SOL's Bermuda Triangle TIMED Race 2023
Inspired by the America’s Cup racing in Bermuda, this is a fun triangular course of 90nm, which we originally raced with psail and bonkhoot’s collaborative polar for the AC72 foiling catamaran. Having tried the course in the more pedestrian Open 60 in 2021, this year we return to the AC72, in fact to the MODIFIED AC72v2, modified to remove the inconsistencies that obtained from the original interpolation of the limited data issued by the AC 2003 Principal Race Officer in connection with penalties determination. This is a TIMED race, which means you get multiple chances to try out the ramifications of the revisions. Be careful though, the polar remains a handling challenge with major stall-out potential!
